CPR Training Attempts To Break Guiness World Record

First Aid 1st was pleased to participate as one of the many CPR trainers on October 25, 2012 at Canada’s Wonderland in an attempt to break the Guinness World RecordĀ® for the largest CPR training session by training the most people at one time in one place.  The event was part of a cardiac arrest awareness campaign sponsored by the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
While falling short of the current world record set by the Singapore Heart Foundation which attracted 7909 participants on January 16, 2011, more than 5000 participants at Canada’s Wonderland learned life saving CPR skills.  With over 7,000 cardiac arrests in Ontario each year, there is a need to train as many people as possible to insure a positive outcome for these individuals.
First Aid 1st provides CPR, HCP Level C and First Aid Certification for small to medium sized Corporate Businesses and individuals.  CPR, HCP and First Aid classes are taught by experienced instructors who are certified by The Lifesaving Society and The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario. They bring a wealth of knowledge, personal expertise and examples to the training.
